My period was supposed to come 5 days ago. I am a 100% sure that I’m not pregnant, so what could be the reason that my period isn't coming. I did go to the physicians but they did not give me any help. My physician just thought I might be anorexic, and she pretty much didn’t help me in anything.
Is my period coming late because I started to exercise lately, because my doctor told me to cease exercising. I am confused here can any one help me out, that would be much appreciated.
Answer:
Exercising can actually stop your period. Google female athletes and menstrual cycles.
Anorexia could be a cause, but if you’re exercising and haven;t adjust your diet, its more likely you’re anemic. Try adding a vitamin with Iron and vitamin C to your diet. If it continues, seek a second thought.
Answer:
If you are doing a lot of strenuous exercise or have dramatically reduced your body fat percentage/weight then that can affect your period. A lot of professional female athletes stop having their period because of this. You don't have to quit exercising, but maybe reduce the amount that you do.
Answer:
Are you underweight? Being underweight, anorexic, bulimic, over-exercising and not eating are all causes of a delayed period. The same is true for overweight women.
Answer:
Exercise is one of the reasons that you could miss your period. Also, stress, change in diet or illness can cause it too.
Answer:
I remember when I was on a swim team mine were extremely inregular.
So that could be it x]
