I’m 21 years old and have been to a few doctors. I get migraines to the point both my hands fall asleep. I begin to not be able to see. Light and sound make me so sick. I’ve thrown up and even passed out from pain. The major thing is, I’ve gone 8 months with out a migraine and then had 4 in less then 2 weeks that all put in me the ER. Right now I'm speaking Tylenol 3's And the last week since I have been on my feet at work and working short all week. Pretty much each 6 hours I'm taken a pill. Today I’m only able to write this because I’ve taken 3 since 5am. Its 11am here and I finally got out of bed. ( I’ll be going back in, in about 10 mins.) And I had to call off work.
Each time I go to the ER they do the MRI's or CT scans and come up with nothing. So what's going on with me? I have also tried chiropractors but that doesn't seem to make it better or worse.
I have been a Nurse's Aide now for nearly 3 years. I do a lot of bending lifting and standing for 8-12 hours. I'm also 5'2 and about 113lbs. Any advice?
Answer:
I started getting migraines when I was 12 years old. I went on different kinds of birth control but most of them weren't helping. I changed physicians and he suggested a progesterone only BC pill. As soon as i started taking those, my migraines have went away. It has been nearly 2 years since i have had a migraine. So thats what worked for me.
Answer:
I use to have migraines that would last 2 to 4 days. I couldn't eat and any light or noise made it worse. I would just lay in the dark and pray it would go away. Finally I went to the doctor and he gave me “Maxalt”. You just put it in your mouth and it dissolves. No lie, within 5 mins no more pain. Report Abuse
