I got my period today and just like each month it is PAINFUL! I can't move without wanting to cry, I’m a little shaky and weak like I’m each period. I am sick of it! I just took some motrin to make the pain subside. Does anyone else have this problem? What are some other solutions? Has anyone taken birth control pills to make the pain stop?
Answer:
I used to have painful periods because of a large ovarian cyst. My physician thought I also had endometriosis, but I didn't. The prescribed me birth control, which made my cyst go away and also helped MAJORLY with cramps. I would go to a gynecologist and explain your symptoms. You might have a cyst or possible endometriosis. The will probably prescribe you birth control to see if it will help.
Answer:
Yes, you should really try getting the pill to help with this. I did and it worked great, I don't get cramps that bad anymore and my period is more regular which is a lot easier.
