Is that really weird? I am 13, but I have a lot of trouble asking her and I don't know when the right time to asks is. We’re basically never alone…my brother is with us whenever I am at her house. (divorced parents)
Answer:
I do it, asking my mother for stuff like that in an e-mail. I don't feel comfortable speaking to her about that stuff, and if I can't send an e-mail at the point in time, I still hate doing it. My dad, or one of my two brothers might be around. I hate it. Sending an e-mail about it isn't weird.
Answer:
Sweetie, at age 13, I think you are old enough to buy some razors next time you’re at the store with a parent or friend and just start shaving. This is one of the things that tends to be forgotten when parents split up and I am sorry that your mom has been unaware of your need. I advocate trying the venus razors, I find that they do a good job and feel comfortable to use. Get some shaving gel, too. Use long, slow strokes from ankle to knee, rinsing razor head after each stroke. Use your hand to check for any missed hairs and rinse your whole leg when you’re done. Many women only need to shave the lower leg, from ankle to just above the knee, but if your hair on your thighs is darker, you might want to remove that hair, too. Make sure that you always lightly drag the razor in a motion up the leg, against the direction of the hair growth. Be careful not to cut yourself, and never move the razor head from side-to-side. Good luck. And let your mother know that you need to schedule visits with her without your brother, because you need some woman-to-woman time with her, too.
Answer:
I would say either email or pull her a side and whisper it to her.
All you have to say is “Hey Mom I'm ready to shave my legs, what do I do?”
She'll be more than happy to help you learn. All women do it and I promise you she's just waiting for you to let her know you're ready. Don't be nervous your Mom absolutely comprehends.
Answer:
I don't think its weird at all. I had a friend ask my mom for me when i was your age. Just say” Mom, i am starting to get hair on my legs and i really want to shave it off, is that okay?” Don't be afraid to ask, and do it in whatever way makes you comfortable.
Answer:

Answer:
