When you get your urine tested and nothing comes up does that mean that….?

you dont have any STDs UTIs etc.??? BC i got my pee checked for a UTI and she said there was nothing there so does that mean i dont have a UTi and any other disease that can be found in your urine? oh for the FYi i think she used a type of paper like litmus or sumthin idk.

When you have your urine tested most of the time they are checking for certain things like blood, proteins, and glucose. They do not check for STD's with a urine test. The disease they are checking for in your urine could be things like diabetes and kidney failure.

So that does not mean that you don't have an STD, the only way to be tested for that would be to specifically ask for these kinds of test.
