Ok, so I just gave my boyfriend oral for the first time. Prior to that I have never done anything with another guy except kissing. About 2 weeks ago I had a cold sore. It dried up though and fell off. The only thing that is left is barely noticeable and my cold sore is totally gone. So I couldnt of possibly given him an std or gotten one right? I mean, I know that I have the ability to get one with sexual contact but since the cold sore is dried up and fell off, wouldnt I not get an std from it since it is gone?
Answer:
Touching or kissing, and sexual contact with the infected area spread oral herpes. The virus is more contagious if an outbreak is present although it is possible, but less likely, for the virus to spread even if there is no sign of an outbreak or a oral herpes lesion. A oral herpes outbreak or recurrence is most contagious until sores have totally healed when not even scabs are visible.
I hope this helps explain it a tiny better. RB
Answer:
Haha Funny. You could have an STD. Ask him and even if it did fall off does not mean the STD is gone. Don't kiss or do THAT again till you know. Kay?
