We’ve been together for about one year and yes we have had unprotected sex.

Answer:
You’re at Risk for warts but you’re prob not at risk for cancer. Generally Men are carriers of HPV and half of people clear the disease on their own within a year or two men more quickly than women. So take a lot of vitamins. warts are contagious so if you were exposed to the wart there’s a chance you will get them .Two physicians told me that HPV has been around for years and only recently has it been exposed as some CRAZY HORRIBLE STD. Most people who have more than one partner get it in their life time, there’s really no telling how you will be affected by it its a 50/50 its up to your body therefore you might be fine and might have nothing happen and you clear the virus and it never affects you again and you might get horrible nasty warts that are hard to treat that reaccur forever. No one can tell you what WILL happen only what MIGHT. Try not to stress about it and just take care of it as it comes, the sooner you take care of syptoms the better so just be aware and watch for symptoms. And the type of HPV that cause genital warts either doesnt or vary rarely causes cancer.

Now my question for you is I just noticed Genital warts I’ve been to my doctor I’m on aldara trying to get rid of them. I know who I got it from and now I am with a new boyfriend and have been for about 7-8 months. We’ve had plenty of unprotected sex, therefore whats your advice on how to tell him, what will he think when I tell him, he’s out of town for the next 3 weeks I was going to tell him when he got back, even though I have had unprotected sex with my current boyfriend the person I got the HPV from wore a condom. Any suggestions, my current boyfriend cares about my very much but I just feel bad that I gave him this and I’m wondering what he will think and feel and what the best things to say are. Hopefully I helped you some and you can help me.

Answer:
it is 99% that you also have HPV virus that causes genital warts because you had unprotected sex! but it is possible that genital warts will not appear in your genital area because genital warts appears when your immune system is weak! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities! also your girlfriend must build up your immune system because it is possible that her body can get rid of genital warts by itself if her immune system will be strong!

also she should use some herbal treatment!

in that case Wartrol is a good (probably the best) product that gets rid of genital warts and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! of course if you will use full course (5 months - if I remember correctly).

It worked for me!

I don’t know if any pharmacies carry Wartrol but I do know that you should buy it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.wartrol.com/?aid=749165

good luck!

Answer:
Yes it is very contagious, but you don't know when or if it will ever show on you. Do you and your future partners a favor alway use a condom. Believe it or not most people have it for years and transmit it without knowing. You just happen to be with someone who had a out break.
