First noticed this a few weeks ago as an itching sensation, except it was INSIDE my penis. Then about two days ago, as I was ending a stream while urinating, I felt a slight burning sensation at the same location (seems to be on the inside of my penis).
This morning when I woke it felt kinda like the same burning, except it seemed to be closer to the end-opening, just inside my penis.
When I was a kid, I had a real bad kidney infection that felt the same, except it was much worse. During THAT episode (as a teen) it was an EXTREME burning pain that made me dread having to urinate.
I don't want whatever it is now, to become like it was then. Will this go away in time? Or should I get a medical thought.
I'm not real familiar with various signs and symptoms, or types of STD's. Any ideas of what might be going on there?

Go see a physician either way you’re going to need antibiotics. But which kind will depend on what you have. Don't let it get worse.

no idea. it could be an std, or the beginning of a bladder infection. regardless you need to see a physician. if it is an std it is most likely a treatable one.
