ok…people say that you can get hiv through a cut or a wound…now from my understanding, when you’ve a cut, you bleed out so even if you come in contact with blood, your body wont suck it in or if you are not bleeding then a scab must have formed and hiv can not access the bllod stream…is this correct?
Answer:
No, it is not correct, HIV is very versatile.
Answer:
Ok when you’ve an open cut although you’ve bled out it is still VERY vulnerable to all kinds of infections including HIV. The contaminated blood would have to enter the opened cut and would eventually reach your blood stream.. Scabs are not barriers to the bloodstream even though it isn't opened anymore it still is suseptable to infections and should be kept covered with a bandaid if it isn't protected by clothing….hope this info helps!
