Hair around genital areas..remove?

Are both men and women expected to remove all the hair around their genital areas? I believe so but some of my friends were not sure so I thought some of you out there would give us an opinion.

Its not expected, but I think now its kind of a cultural thing like shaving your legs and armpits. Keep yourself trimmed, usually good enough for me.

More women go ahead and remove all the hair, but some just keep it trimmed. And in my experience with guys, most of them kept theirs trimmed, and the ones that did shave it all off, regretted it severly b/c of the irritation it caused down there

well, it depends on the person…some people aren't very hairy others are. I think a trim is appropriate for both partners.
