Okay, so… My mom had genital warts(HPV) a few years before she actually had me. She got the warts removed but it's a virus that never leaves yer body, right? I was born C Section. So… Is there anyway I have hpv?

Answer:
Actually some strains of HPV are cleared by your immune system, including types that cause warts.

Since it's spread by direct skin contact and your mom's infection cleared before you were born by c-section, you don't have to worry about inheriting it like HIV or syphilis.

But it is possible that you are more susceptible to catching it from a partner than some others are. It's very contagious from sexual contact.

Answer:
There's a chance you don't have it since you're mom had a Caesarian section with you. But the best way to be sure is to get vaccinated.

Answer:
If you do have hpv, you didn't get it from your mom. If you have had sex, there's a chance you have hpv. It's very common.

Answer:
Prob not.
