Okay, I had an unprotected sex with a girl last year. This girl was my girl friend for a while but I only had sex one time with her and then I knew that she sleeps with a lot of other guys who works with her.
During the sex, I didn't get deep into her vagina. I didn't even feel any fluids inside her vagina.
I'm I vulnerable to have HIV? Do you think that it could be transmitted in this case
I'm thinking to get married but I'm so scared because I'm not sure If I have it or not
She cheated on me. I was so stupid :(:(
Answer:
The chances are very very high indeed, especially if she had Sexual Intercourse with previous men. Now by the way you are worried i can tell you’re a good person, and wouldn't like to harm anyone in any way. I’m a Physician so i fully comprehend the situation in hand.
Its time to get Technical.
Some people, within a few weeks of first contracting HIV infection, have symptoms that are similar to infectious mononucleosis. These symptoms generally last anywhere from 3 to 14 days:
fever
rashes
swollen lymph nodes (may stay enlarged)
muscle stiffness or aching
fatigue
sore throat
Symptoms that signal full-blown AIDS include:
weight loss
swollen lymph nodes
a fever that comes and goes
general unwell feeling
recurring diarrhea
anemia
thrush - a fungal infection of the mouth
Diagnosis
relatively simple, highly accurate blood test (called the ELISA test) can be used to screen people for HIV infection. If this test is positive, results are confirmed with more accurate and expensive blood tests such as a Western blot test. If the ELISA test is negative, it should be repeated within a few months since many people don't produce measurable antibodies right away.
Highly sensitive tests (P24 antigen) may also detect the virus.
When your Does Confirm the situation, he may give you many diffrent things to treat the Infections,
nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors such as:
AZT (zidovudine)
ddl (didanosine)
ddC (zalcitabine)
d4T (stavudine)
3TC (lamivudine)
non-nucleoside reverse transciptase inhibitors such as nevirapine and delavirdine
protease inhibitors such as saquinavir, ritonavir, or indinavir.
I think someone will think twice, when having unprotected sex.
Answer:
Yes, you opened yourself up to the possibility of contracting HIV or any one of the numerous STD's out there. All it takes is one time of unprotected sex for something bad to happen. But men have a much tougher time contracting these diseases from women, so luck is on your side in that regard. Still, the ideal thing you can do for yourself is to go have a easy blood test done at your doctors office. That way you’ll know for sure and you can put your mind at ease.
Answer:
the answer is yes and it is not the number of guys she or you’ve in partners that matters, it is the fact that you’ve unprotected sex and are exposed to the virus if it is present.
you can get tested at your county health dept. free in most cases.
always use protection until your with your wife and both of you have been tested before marriage. Aid's isn’t a joke it kills you and their is no cure for it, so don't play around unprotected please.
Answer:
If it has been a year since you were exposed to this other person then an HIV test would give you an accurate answer to your question. You probably didn't contract anything from her if what you say is true about the one time but still, if she was positive then of course you have been exposed. Put your mind at ease and get tested. It's easy to do. Contact your local County Health Unit or Aids service organization and find out when they do testing. They usually use an oral swab and can have your results within twenty minutes.
Answer:
yeah your stupid to think every girl who sleeps with lots of boys have a disease.you shouldn't sleep through health classes at school dude. they mean a lot.
anyway, if you're so concerned if you have something, go to a physician. you don't even need to tell your perents, and it doesn't even go on your record. i hear they don't even ask your name if you want to be tested. oh, and i your planing on doing it, do it swift before your unknown HIV cells, turn into the wicked AIDs, which means you should “check, mate”.
and study health class!!!!!!!
and you must suck at sex to haven’t even gotton her pussy wet. no wounder she cheated on you dude!!
Answer:
Little chance, breathe a sigh of relief.
1 in 1,000 for heterosexual contact with a girl with HIV.
Answer:
I'm not going to lecture you on using condoms all the time, because sex *is* less pleasurable with condoms, and when you’re in a committed relationship and have other birth control (like pills) it certainly feels safe not to use them.
It doesn't matter how deep you were in her vagina– if she had HIV, it's pretty likely that you do, too. But do you have any reason to believe she has HIV? Just because she sleeps around doesn't mean she's full of STDs. She might use condoms with everyone else.
But the only real way to tell is by getting tested. A trip to your doctor's can clear this up once and for all.
