OK, I had an unprotected sex with an air hostess last year and since that time I'm scared from HIV. Do you know if the airlines companies test their air hostesses for HIV and other diseases?
P.S she works with Qatar-airways.

Answer:
No, why would they?

Their employees are not at risk of transferring their blood to customers during the working day.

Nurses and physicians maybe could–air hostess no.

They cannot legally ask for the test to be done to make sure their stewardesses are safe for outside-of-work fun.

If it has been a year, and you’re still worried, why not go to a clinic and have a blood test?

Answer:
Some airlines do indeed test prospective employees for HIV. The rationale is, if there’s a catastrophe of some sort, it is potentially possible for the transmission of the disease to occur via blood to blood exposure. It is up the the airline whether or not periodic post-HIV screening takes place. They cannot refuse to hire you (at least in America, under the provisions of the ADA) but they do ask you about HIV status and DO test you as part of their employment physicals. If you are HIV positive and don’t disclose your status, then you have lied on your job application and they can refuse to hire you. If you’ve already been offered a job and test positive after the fact, they can’t dismiss you.

Answer:
I’ve never heard of any company testing their employees for HIV for employment. That would be serious violation of their privacy. Its highly doubtful that they do.
Besides, even if they did, they aren't going to give the results to you.
Here's a recommendation.
Quit having sex with total strangers and if you must, wear a condom.

Answer:
What???????????? Air Hostesses are people too. There’s no job requirement for HIV testing. Are you nuts????? HIV can only be transmitted through sex .Not serving you drinks or food which is the job requirement. It isn’t required for hostesses to have sex with the passengers. You want to be that stupid then you’ll have to take your chances.

Answer:
i think they do, coz here in India that's a medical reqirement and they’re tested for it.

Answer:
nasty. qatar is an international airline so who knows there policy. just go get tested and common sense next time
