Just got diagnosed with HPV, CIN1. Will i be okay to have kids in the future??

Answer:
Yep, You’ll absolutely be just fine!!!

Though pregnancy suppresses your immune system, so most physicians advise you to wait and get pregnant until the CIN 1 has resolved itself. Pregnancy supresses your immune system, and a suppressed immune system is definitely something you don't want when you are trying to fight of HPV.

If you wanted to get pregnant right away, there are treatments they have the ability to do to get rid of the CIN 1. This treatment usually involves removing a small piece of your cervix, so it's better if you don't have to have it. Removing pieces of your cervix slightly increases your risk of preterm birth if you were to get pregnant. You would have to be watched more closely and a small percentage of women have to have their cervix sewn shut to prevent early delivery. If you were 39 and wanted to have children ASAP, it would probably be worth the risk to treat CIN 1. If you don't plan on getting pregnant in the near future, it's ideal to just wait until the CIN 1 goes away on it's own.

Also, it's not the cancer-causing types of HPV that we are usually most concerned about passing to kids. It's the warts types. I know that may sound odd, but it takes years and years for HPV to cause cancer and it's rare for that to happen. The warts types of HPV can cause respiratory papillomatosis and breathing issues in newborns.

Good luck!

Answer:
You’ve all chances to have healthy kids. The rate of HPV infection spreading to a baby is very low, at 0.04 percent. If a woman has an outbreak during delivery they’ll recommend her a C-section.
