I have a friend who is worried about having HIV and he's only 16 
So would being Castrated help prevent him spreading it further?

If he was castrated he wouldn’t likely want to have sex, so he couldn't spread HIV. But if he doesn't have it, he can't spread it. Using a condom when having sex helps decrease the chances of spreading HIV.

It could still be passed from his blood. Why should he hurt himself if he’s still infected. If he practices safe sex and takes the prescribed medication. I don't see why his future partner would become infected.
