Can hep C be spread through sexual contact?

my current boyfriend had sex with a woman who has hep c, one time, before he met me.

could he have gotten it from her?

and if so, could i get it from him?

also, what tests can be done to see if he has it? how much will it cost? is there a test that can test for ALL STDs?

some physicians state no, some say its possible, draw your own conclusion, but i do know from my experience its mainly acquired through needle, im not sure the prices but you can definetly get a test for any one of em
