i have a friend and i feel bad to say this but the man smells bad.
i saw him on Sunday and he looked as if he’d got straight out of bed without washing or changing his clothes.
and the amazing thing is he seems totally unaware of his appearance and that he smells really bad?
he visited me on Sunday and as soon as he came in and sat down i could smell his body odour
and his clothes are never washed…or at least it dont look like they’re.
after he left (this is no word of lie) my sofa retained his odour
and i had to get some air freshener to overpower it..
this is a grown man too and i just can't comprehend why he doesn't seem to wash himself?
no one has the nerve to politely recommend that he perhaps use some deodorant, for fear he’ll take offense, as he is quick tempered and very sensitive.
i in my time have had problems with smelly feet which caused me no end of shame
but i just feel sorry for my friend…he looks and smells awful
it is a shame.

Lol, I had to do this once, and your friends so its a tiny cooler. One day he comes over and just be polite and state, I need to speak to you. Make sure you tell them and let them know your their friend and just break it down. Idk if its the home you live at, ( sometimes living w/ someone can rubb off on you like cigar,ciggeratte smoke) or something but at times you have a very strong odor. Also include if they need to assist them. Like maybe help them change clothes or even buy a gift w/ cool presents and oder stuff included. Like colonge and body wash and stuff like that. And keep insisting that your friends and that if you werent you wouldnt have said nothing.

Maybe leave a stick of deo where you know he’ll find it. Leave small hints like that around, and he might figure it out. Or you could just take him to a club and someone will come up and tell him, you can be sure of that. I think you should tell him in a very polite, and maybe a bit playful way.
