there is this guy in one of my classes he’s always trying to speak to me. we sit next to each other and when he tries to get my attention he grabs my arm or touches my shoulder when he could just simply call my name and i would respond.
then his friend sits behind him. i overheard them talking and his friend said “You would _________________________ mel?” (my name is mel) and he said “mel? anyday.” i didnt hear what he stated in the blank but it was one syllable but the friend stated it quietly i think it might have been bang? i was somewhat shocked..he doesnt seem like that kind of guy and do guys in highschool really talk about that openly??? then i turned around and stated “what” and he said as if he’d done something bad “nothing!!! hi mel!! how are you!?” and then he starts giving me compliments like “mel, you are the coolest person ever. mel knows everything. you're so nice.”
i dont kno if he likes me or not but whats he trying to do and what did his friend state? why does he keep grabbing my arm?

most the lads i know would just state yeah anyway even if it was someone they wouldnt, lads are like that, they joke along with their friends. also if your really pretty or fit or whatever, and most the lads like you or your just normal then he'd be embarrassed to answer no if his friend stated bang. i know it sounds vulgar or whatever but he didnt choose that word it was just his friend, and from the fact that he obviously seemed worried or nervous that you had heard (the way he reacted when you turned round) shows he wouldnt want you to know what he said, therefore he wouldnt 'bang' you because if he would he wouldnt of been bothered by you knowing.
just forget it, he obviously likes you so just ignore his friends.

I understand why your worried… If i were you i would let that guy know you dont want him touching you and to stop then if he still does not get it you’ve all the rights to tell a higher authority.. I know you dont want to tell a higher authority, but you need to so he comprehends and wont try to talk **** or state things that can be insulting

my best guess is that he's trying to get your attention. most likely he does like you. but you should never be tempted to have sex with him only because he likes you. you should try and take things slowly. because who knows he might be a total asshole and tell every one at school that you two had sex
