in my high school guys like to fool around and touch each other's down there… just wondering is this common?? seems like guys our age like to experiment and feel each other out… thanks…

I wouldn't say it is 'common' but it does happen and does not necessarily mean you are gay.
It's normal for young people to check out what others have got… either to compare or just out of curiosity.
Perhaps just look and don't touch.

At high school age everyone knows what’s not appropriate touching. I suspect what you’re describing is being done for intimidation or bullying. If it happens to you don't react in an overly emotional manner but make it clear that there actions are not acceptable.

That's horseplay. It depends on how comfortable you feel about it, or not, that you continue to grant it/participate. Usually towel-flicking comes into it, but not touching very much. That's rare.
