Please help with snoring?

My husband snores and it drives me crazy. He only seems to snore when he’s laying on his back and not when he is on his side. He’s not overweight, but does smoke. Is it curable?

My husband snores so bad that on our honeymoon he’d to sleep on the balcony Lol….any way now he has a machine that helps with snoring and breathing, come to find out he stops breathing in his sleep he should ask he's physician there is a test the do when he's sleep that he can do at home…also hes insurance covers it!
