if you work out for a long time, build up muscle.
how long will it stay with you? i mean, when it dies down, will it just turn into fat? or will it die down to nothing.
see, i dont work out alot, i have a 6 pack and its stayed with me for years. it hasnt died down. its stioll very much there lol

Many men have good muscle tone and definition into their 20s. Usually by 30 or so, the metabolism slows down a bit and you have to watch what you eat and be more conscious about exercise.
You may notice the muscle atrophy a bit, but the fat layer covering the muscle will be more noticeable.
A few men just have really fast metabolisms and stay thin their whole life, but I wouldn't bet on you being one.

ok here's the deal, you know your muscle mass has gotten down when your chest muscles start to get a bit less muscular, those are the hardest to workout and the first to atrophy. so that's an early sign of muscle loss. will start to lose muscle after 3 weeks to a month of no workout.

I think the main major muscles will deteriot (sorry, I know it's spelled wrong) overtime if it doesn't get used. But some muscles are always going to stay with us because we are always moving and lifting some way or another.
You still have your abs maybe because you are still eating healthy and your metabolism is faster than others.
