Yup, waxing IS painful. Think about - melted wax poured onto your chest or back, allowed to cool and harden and then it is lifted off and the hair is pulled out of your skin. You're darned right it hurts! You might think about trying one of the lotions that remove hair - Nair is one of the best known. You rub it on the part where you want to remove the hair, let it sit for awhile and then climb into the shower with a loofah pad if you have one. The hair will wash off and go down the drain.
Do yourself a BIG favour first though - try the Nair on a small part of your skin to make sure you're not allergic to it. Worst thing would be to have an allergy, smear it all over your chest and break out with a rash or something.
Lots of bodybuilders use Nair along with shaving to get those last little bits of hair that don't come off with the lotion. Regardless of which method you use, you'll have to do it again anyway because the hair grows back, so better to go with one that doesn't cause any pain.

Yes it will hurt. Here is a great idea! Rub on a pain relieving cream first. The nerves will deaden some even fter it's washed off. Like Aspercreme. It will help some. Also, the hair will come back just the same as before, not less, not more. I like chest hair, but that's just me, and I am old. lol.
