Depressed Boyfriend.?

Author: admin

hes been depressed for a month now. theres no risk of suicide and hes not always depressed but i had severe depression so i know what its like and i dont want him to go through what i did. he cant go to therapy or get medication so all im doing is supporting him and being happy around him. it works a lot of the time but is there any herbal "cure" or something that would help?

Answer:
I heard fish oil can work wonders for depression. A friend of mine was depressed for 10 years after his divorce. Then he started taking fish oil and hes a new man. He's gotta great life, lots of friends, and just got remarried.

Answer:
He should see a specialist. There are many who will conduct their services for free or for relatively little cost. If he's still not able to do this, he needs to have a strong social support structure he can turn to when things get bad. He needs more than just you in this structure, not that you aren't doing the right thing, but the larger, the better. As to your herbal question: there are no studies proving that there is an herbal or over-the-counter cure or treatment for depression…this might be because drug companies would lose billions of dollars. But there are studies showing that St. John's Wort helps patients suffering from depression have fewer or less severe bouts of depression. Again, it's not FDA approved, but it has similar biochemical end mechanisms as many current anti-depressants.

Answer:
honestly exercise.

i get really depressed, a few friends made me work out one day and i felt great all night

i didn't put it all together right away but i kept working out because they wanted to.

then they went away for a week, and i figured meh **** it ill be lazy and i got depressed again

but if you constantly work out with him, (for me lifting is the best way to feel good, running works too) he will be a happier person

Guaranteed or double your money back

Answer:
There is no herbal cure but that would be a huge hint. You probely know why he is deppressed so try to work around. Help him to be happy and show him that you care about him.

Answer:
conversation is the key, also change his envieronment to something else. Often times just a change of environment can change someone's mood. Go out and do stuff!!

Answer:
make sure he hangs out with friends that make him laugh and that make him happy.
