Hi i'm 18 and i was wondering if it was possible for me to have low testosterone… I have very small muscles and body. Basically I look like i have the body of a 12 year old. I havn't even grown since age 15. I am 6 1/2 inches tall. Is it even possible for an 18 year old to have low testosterone? Also who do i go to to get it tested?

Answer:
You may see an endocrinologist for necessary examination and advice please.

Answer:
go to the GP for an examination, i dont think that it is only to do with testosterone.

Umm…you said you're "6 and a half inches tall". Now, if you're referring to your whole height, that's not possible. If you're referring to your penis, that's perfectly normal!

And yes, 18 year olds can have low testosterone. I'm a young adult and I believe I've had much lower testosterone levels than other guys in my teen years.

Answer:
You say you are 6 1/2 inches tall ? Either you mean 6' 1/2" or you are a leprechaun….

By "Basically I look like i have the body of a 12 year old." do you mean hairless with no genital growth ? If so, you need to see your doc about seriously delayed puberty, and get kick started with hormone shots.

Your doc can and should get your testosterone levels checked [along with a whole lot of other things].

It would be medically relevant if your sense of smell is either very acute or very dull. If either, be sure to mention it.

See http://www.fpnotebook.com/Endo/Exam/MlTn… for a medical outline of puberty stages, and

http://www.fpnotebook.com/Endo/Sex/Pbrtl… for an outline about delayed puberty. It will probably not be entirely clear, since it is in doctorese, but it may help. Wikipedia is good too.

If you were not well fed when younger that can delay puberty. As can genetics; were any of your relatives very late bloomers ?

I suppose you could have a great career in making porno flicks for those who like the 'extra young' look….[joking !]
